How it started

Diyora started in a family courtyard in Jaipur in 2026. Every Diwali we bought diyas from the same potter, and one year he told us his sons had stopped working the wheel because factory-made diyas had pushed the price down to a rupee each.

So we bought his entire batch, painted them, boxed them, and sold them to friends at a price that paid him properly. They sold out in a week. That box of diyas became Diyora: a brand that sells festive gifts with a maker behind every one.

What we believe

• Made by hand. Every product is made by a named artisan or small family workshop, never a factory line.
• Paid fairly. We agree prices with makers before we set ours, not after.
• Made to keep. We design gifts that are used for years: jars you reuse, brass you pass down.
• Less plastic. Our boxes are paper and wood, filled with crinkle paper instead of foam.
