Each thali is cast in solid brass and engraved by hand with a paisley border by craftsmen in Moradabad, India's brass city. It takes a single karigar most of a day to finish one plate.
The set includes everything for Lakshmi Puja: a diya, two katoris for kumkum and haldi, an agarbatti stand, a small bell and a kalash. Choose a polished gold finish, an antique finish, or rose copper. It comes in a cloth-lined box and makes a gift that is passed down rather than thrown away.
